Yes we can!

Summer in April...

Hello! Weather was beautiful, the house was working well and we had great time. Now I see why southern girls sew more than they knit, for obvious reasons. For 15 days, it was summer in April, how lucky! I came back to rose yarn today... Have a great week!...

Wish list

The weather here is not so good, and let me plenty of time to look around what I wish to buy for our house or to offer. Of course there is also moments where I can knit, who knows what size I will finally obtain for that sweater... What do you think?...

White - First communion

Nothing was simplier, but it asked me time though. My sewing machine quit about half an hour from being done. I finished it by hand... It will be completed by a nice, white dress. The ugly weather outside forced me to consider taking back a one year old...

Weaving

I use leftovers from former projects. It takes a long to prepare and plan, but once on the loom weaving goes very fast! Pour tisser, j'utilise les restes de mes projets... Un reste de pull pour enfant, de gilet Rowan, d'écharpes au crochet. Une fois passé...

Cochenille Rose

When the weather allows it, it becomes a joy to spin and dye. I used alpaga, lamb wool, CVM wool and the gorgeous cochenille for the rose dye bath. I don't know yet whether I'll use this for weaving or knitting! Dès que le temps le permet, c'est un vrai...

Fir Cones...

... are spreading on cotton. I knit my fine lace cardigan when the weather is hot, and otherwise a very warm sweater from "A Fine Fleece". Maybe you'll see them both in September. I wish you pleasant summer holidays if you get some! Des "pommes de pain"...
